First up is our awesome guest contributor this time, Sherry Cartwright. Here's her layout:

very sweet LO, jen. i love childhood memories and photos.
Here's my lo for the challenge...I took a different spin on it sorda...the photo of my son was taken outside of my cousin's viewing...he passed away very suddenly from a bloodclot that went to his heart after a knee surgery this past August. He left behind an amazing wife and 4 beautiful girls...that night was the worst I've had in quite a while...I was in such shock and I just couldn't fathom why or how this could have happened to such an amazing family....one of those moments that seems to be in slow motion or black and white even...but it lasted all night...until I ventured outside to where my husband was playing with my son and for a moment everything seemed normal again and I was back to seeing my life in color and appreciating what a great life I have! My son is far to young to understand or give his perspective on death...but it was his perspective on life that got me thru that night! Just thought I'd give you a little back story about the lo since the journaling is inside the envelope...thanks you guys for having such a great site that helps remind me to record the painful memories too...after all, they're part of who we are too! http://www.debbiehodge.com/gisforum/index.php?app=gallery&module=images§ion=viewimage&img=11998

When Mum died we told my son that she was in heaven which was up with the stars. This also made me think of a song from "Joesph"
"There's one more angel in heaven,
There's one more star in the sky,
There's one less place at our table,
There's one more tear in my eye
I finally was able to get my child's perspective and complete the layout so thought I would share the link.
