*HAVE A CONVERSATION*
Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 6:00AM What would you say?
Yes, this challenge is a doozy and I can personally attest to the fact that this one was harder than most. Without further ado, then, here are our layouts for this challenge. (Be sure, though, to read to the very end because I'm really excited about what I have to say! LOL!)
First is a layout by our good friend Marti who has been a guest before:
Tania:

Amanda (okay, I got indecisive and made two...I'll explain more later, lol):
Jen:
As usual, stories and more in-depth/individual looks at these layouts will follow in the coming days, so be sure to check back. :)
Now. Are you ready for my exciting news? Yes? Okay. Our sponsor this time around is Scrapbooking From the Inside Out. This amazing site is a true source of inspiration, complete with monthly kits, a rockin' gallery and an active message board. They're offering up one of their awesome October kits (the theme is "loss" this month) as the prize for this challenge. AND. Tomorrow, I'll share three layouts that their design team members created for this challenge! Hop on over to their site and check out the kit this month. Then, make something for this challenge and post it online (your own blog, a gallery, our Flickr group, you get the picture). Link us up in the comments section of THIS POST by midnight October 25, and we'll pick a random winner at that time. Cool.

Wow! Great challenge! There is so much I would say to Abby. This might be a tough one.
All of us at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out are so excited to be sponsoring this important challenge - our kits and community are all about the 'inner' experience and using our great craft as a method of self-expression, catharsis and release. We love what you're doing here. Our members will be participating too and know that this will be a very meaningful opportunity to create art...

Ok this one is a tough one for sure. I will probably shed a few tears along the way but I think the end result will be totally worth it.
I have my layout started but I haven't written anything yet. It's only been 7 weeks since my mother passed away. And it's not getting any better for me. I am hardly making. I don't care about anything except my daughter but, she has her own life and I don't want to bother her with my mess of a life.
I love all the beautiful layouts. I hope to finish mine soon and hope I know how to upload it to this site. Thanks for listening.
I finished my layout and posted it on my blog. http://abriellenefffoundation.blogspot.com/2009/10/love-you.html
It was difficult to write a letter to Abby because I do "talk" to her every day. She is always in my thoughts so I feel like she still knows about our daily lives.
Great Challenge - Here is mine

It felt great to scrapbook a layout about my Dad. He's been gone 21 years and I still miss him; we had a special connection.
Thanks for a wonderful blog and thought-provoking challenges! :-)

Doggone it! I messed up the link! Let's try that again, shall we? Ahem... :-)

This was a hard challenge to do...but found the perfect picture to focus a poetic conversation with my grandmothers. Here is my layout: http://scrapyourlifeart.blogspot.com/2009/10/good-grief-challenge-lost-grandmothers.html
Love this blog!
It has only been several months since my Dad passed away and I still have so many feelings of loss to deal with. I wish I had found this blog sooner. I doubt I have time to do this challenge by the deadline the way I really want to but I will do it eventually.
Thought I'd play along this week. I had the perfect subject for this challenge and wanted to make sure I documented this.
I uploaded to Flickr Gallery. Here is the link.
