*USE A FAVORITE PHOTO*
Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 3:36AM Our third challenge is to scrap a favorite photo or photos. I know I've talked to some who hesitate to scrapbook these favorites...reluctant to actually document them, knowing that it might be the last time you get to do so. But. Please tell these stories. Share these pictures. Holding onto them is great, but preserving them is better. :) And, for me personally, I see no reason why you can't scan your treasured (and potentially hoarded) photo and scrapbook it numerous times and ways. ;)
Without further ado, then, here are our contributor layouts for this challenge. Individual stories will follow in the coming days...

As usual, we look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge! As added incentive, Teresa Collins Designs is offering this awesome prize for some random winner:
(Note, though, for this prize, we're going to have to require that the winner live in the US. Sorry!) To be eligible for the random drawing, upload your challenge project online and link us up in the comments of this post by midnight on September 25th. No limit on the number of entries or whether they've been posted online previously...just be sure to link us up so we can see your favorite photos!
Please note, I hope to have a couple more layouts and will add those here as soon as I receive them. :)

I wholeheartedly agree with Amanda ---- there are too few photos of my dad and I together [or of my dad alone] that any photo is a favorite.
Here is my layout for this challenge. Since I found this site after the first challenge, I decided to combine the two into this one.

Such a sweet page, Jen!
The Sassafrass Lass is so perfect for your photo, Teri. So sorry for your loss.
I have so many favorite photo's and the one I really want to scrap for this challenge is put away and I need my dear hubby to get to it for me but we have been so very busy that we have not had the time so I will still scrap that one as soon as I can but I can share this favorite photo layout that I did a few years ago and I still love it. http://simplydeneen.typepad.com/simply_deneen/
Thanks again for the wonderful challenges and I will share my other favorite photo layout as soon as I make it LOL!
I'm so glad to have found this blog and the community of women who are finding healing in scrapbooking the grief of losing a loved one. I lost my mother in 1992 when she was 46 and I was 20.
I haven't been able to find the time to scrapbook recently. (An 8 year old boy and an almost-8 month old girl makes it hard to find a quiet moment!) But sometime ago, I did scrap this favorite photo of my mother and I.

I just love this pic of my sweet MIL so proud beside her new kitchen cabinets that we bought her. It's not a great pic (bad lighting) but I still love it because she was always in the kitchen cooking up something good.
What a great site...I'm so glad I found a place where I can share the memories of the important people in my life that have left me behind. I know I will see these people again one day, but in the meantime they will always be close by as long as I honor their memories! Here is a lo that I did for my grandmother who passed away last October. She had alzheimer's for 9 years, and I know where she is now she knows every face and remembers each moment of her life with us! This is my favorite photo of my grandmother...maybe because she is just a few years older than I am...My grandfather was a military man, who faught in WWII, and he himself would tell you that even Rosie (the image pictured in the lo) couldn;t measure up to my grandmother...Rosie"could do it," but my grandma could "do it all!" my lo can be found at http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showphoto.php?photo=105242
